Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Tuesday afternoon in East Allegheny.
It happened on the 4090 block of East North Avenue around 12:40 at the First National Bank on the North Side.
A man believed to be in his 60s walked up to a cashier and slide a note toward her.
He pointed to a "dark object" in a plastic bag and demanded money from the register.
The cashier gave the man an undisclosed amount who walked out and ran toward James Street.
An investigation is underway.
