Malone was placed on total workers' comp disability and was paid nearly $4,000.
Turns out he was lying, according to investigators.
They learned from his ex-wife that Malone actually injured his foot while the couple were in Nashville for their wedding party.
Malone is facing charges of theft and fraud.
