PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) A little after 8:15 Friday night, Pittsburgh Police were called to 4th Avenue and Wood Street Downtown for a stabbing victim.
Originally called by the Port Authority Police, when officers arrived to the scene they found a male victim with a single stab wound to his kidney area.
Medics arrived and transported the victim to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
Not far from the scene, police located a female suspect.
She was questioned and arrested and a weapon was recovered from the suspect.
She is currently being held in Allegheny County Jail.
