A noise complaint may have triggered a fatal shooting Tuesday afternoon in New Castle.
Officers sent to the 1400 block of East Washington Street found a man dead on the porch of a home.
He was shot in the chest. Police believe the man exchanged gunfire with at least one person.
Investigators say the victim came outside to complain about noise being made by a nearby group.
