PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) One man is dead following a shooting in Downtown Pittsburgh.
A little after 1:00 p.m. Pittsburgh Police were called to reports of a person shot off of Fort Duquesne Blvd.
The incident happened downtown between Sixth and Seventh Streets downtown.
When officers responded, they found a male victim in an alley with a gunshot wound to the chest.
Police applied first aid until paramedics arrived and transferred him to a hospital in critical condition.
In a 4:00 p.m. update, the victim was pronounced deceased.
Shortly following the original shooting, Pittsburgh Police stopped a vehicle on the South Side.
Two individuals from the vehicle were taken to police headquarters.
