More trouble for the owners of the old Century III Mall.
Moonbeam Capital Investments owns the shuttered mall that police and neighbors say has become a safety hazard.
Now a judge is fining the owners nearly a quarter-million dollars for violating West Mifflin's ordinances on sanitation, unsafe structures and overgrown weeds.
Moonbeam is a group based out of Las Vegas.
They bought the mall several years ago with plans to remodel it, but never did.
Now the vacant building has become a target for vandals and a hangout for trespassers.
Last month, a teenager fell through the roof.
Borough officials will meet later this month to determine whether the old mall should be condemned and demolished.
