Starting Tuesday, Pennsylvania homeowners can apply for help from the Homeowner Assistance Fund.
The fund has $350 million to help homeowners prevent or ease mortgage delinquencies, defaults, foreclosures and utility disconnections.
To qualify, household income must be at or below 150-percent of the area's median income. Homeowners must also have reduced income or increased living expenses due to the pandemic.
They must own and occupy their home as a primary residence.
Funds are available for mortgage assistance, property charges and utility payments. The money will be distributed directly to lenders, utilities and authorized third parties.
