Allegheny County Police are investigating a deadly stabbing in Penn Hills.
Allegheny County Police are investigating the stabbing death of 45-year-old Jinx Hairston.
Detectives say Hairston was stabbed Thursday night on Penny Drive in Penn Hills and later died at UPMC Mercy.
Hairston was reportedly being driven to the hospital by George Mitchell.
Mitchell has not been charged in Hairston’s death.
But County Police confirmed to KDKA Radio he was taken into custody Thursday morning on charges filed by Wilkinsburg Police.
Investigators say Mitchell is accused of hitting two teenage girls in Penn Hills, striking a dog in Wilmerding, and abandoning a vehicle before arriving at the hospital in a different car.
