The Penn Hills school board voted Wednesday night to no longer play any games against the Kiski Area school district for the rest of this school year.
Penn Hills superintendent claims that Kiski fans yelled racial comments and made inappropriate gestures toward volleyball players earlier this year.
The district solicitor says that they have met with the WPIAL. He says the league could issue sanctions and not allow Penn Hills to play in any WPIAL games and it could affect fall sports.
At the time of the allegations last month, Kiski superintendent said she was surprised and saddened by Penn Hills decision to cancel games.
She said the district could not confirm that any Kiski students made any racial comments or inappropriate gestures.
