The Pine-Richland School District is planning to hold a news conference Tuesday afternoon at 3:30p.
For the first time, the district is planning to issue a statement regarding their recent decision to not renew the contract of varsity football coach Eric Kasperowicz.
The conference will be streamed by Pine-Richland and access to the press conference will only be available to the media. The district will not permit in-person attendance by the public.
Kasperowicz and his assistant coaches were told by the district last week that their contracts would not be renewed. Since then, the district provided no explanation and would not comment on the situation.
Students and others in the community have been rallying behind Kasperowicz since the news broke.
