PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) — The Pittsburgh Police from Zone 1 looked into a reported shooting at the intersection of Lowrie Street and Tinsbury Street on Saturday morning.
The shooting is believed to have happened around 10 a.m. on October 3.
When police arrived on the scene, they found a male with a gunshot wound to the head.
The male was transported to the hospital in a critical state.
So far through the investigation, police discovered that an altercation between two motorists came to a head and resulted in a gunshot wound to the victim.
Violent Crime Unit detectives are now in the process of interviewing witnesses, and the Crime Scene Unit combed through the evidence on the scene.
The investigation is still underway.
