A consumer alert has been issued for a restaurant in East Liberty.
"The Urban Tap" on Highland Avenue was hit with the alert by the Allegheny County Health Department after an inspection.
The inspection reports "unsounds food conditions, foods held past their discard dates, inadequate cleaning and sanitization, and lack of pest control."
In total, the restaurant/bar was hit with 12 total violations.
The restaurant offers various foods, beer on draft, cocktails, espresso, tea, brunch and more.
The alert was posted on June 21 and as of June 26 is still active on the ACHD's website.
"The Urban Tap" has another location on the South Side. That location is not under any alerts.
