PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Police are investigating six smash-and-grab burglaries at convenience stores in Butler, Beaver, and Lawrence counties.
State police believe each of the robberies are connected.
The most recent happened early Tuesday at Last Minit Mart in Muddy Creek Township.
Burglars broke the glass door, went to the cigarette rack and filled up a garbage can with smokes.
Authorities say the same thing has happened at stores in North Beaver, North Sewickley, Wilmington, Wampum, and Portersville.
Investigators think the suspects are trading the cigarettes for drugs.
