Police Identify Suspect In Latrobe Hit And Run

Police have identified the driver in a hit and run incident in Latrobe that injured a woman on Saturday.

Police are looking for the driver of the hit and run incident, Bobby Bryer. They want him to turn himself in as they say running is only going to make things worse for Bryer.


Mary Bathurst was taking the trash out at Union Mission where she works, when she was hit by Bryer's vehicle and traveled into a fence from the impact.

According to witnesses the driver initially stopped, but then drove away.

Investigators said a woman informed them that Bryer drives a red Dodge Ram pickup, The license plate is: ZNR 3449.

UPDATE: Bryer turned himself in to police on Friday morning.

He has since posted $50,000 bail and has been released.

Bryer is being charged with aggravated assault by vehicle, accident involving death or personal injury, and related offenses.
