Pittsburgh police are increasing patrols in Squirrel Hill after another incident of anti-Semitic vandalism.
Police received reports Tuesday morning about graffiti in the Summerset at Frick housing development.
Several tires in the area were slashed.
Authorities are working to identify a suspect or suspects.
One phrase said "I stand with Gaza" and another said "Free Palestine".
Democratic nominee for Pittsburgh City Controller Rachael Heisler called it "a threat to Jewish people."
