Police in Westmoreland County are looking for a woman who went missing a few days after she was kidnapped.
The Westmoreland County DA’s office says family members have been unable to reach Lydia Nelson (Prince) since Thursday afternoon in Scottdale.
Lydia’s husband, 29-year-old Shawn Prince, allegedly kidnapped her Monday morning.
After getting tired and asking Nelson to drive, Prince fell asleep. It was at that point that Nelson escaped somewhere near Ohio Pyle before turning around back to Scottdale.
She drove to the police station and went inside the building. At that point, Prince drove away and has not been seen since.
Scottdale Police believe Nelson could be in a red Subaru Impreza with the license plate number MBS-5604.
Anyone with any information is asked to call 911.
