Police are on the hunt for a shooting suspect that is accused of shooting another man Sunday night in New Castle.
According to the New Castle Police Department, 29-year-old Alexander Minnich is accused of shooting someone with a rifle Sunday night evening along Butler Avenue.
Officers surrounded a home they believed Minnich was inside of Sunday evening. After they made their way inside they searched the home and did not find Minnich.
Anyone with information about Minnich or where he went is asked to call the New Castle Police Dispatch Center at 724-656-9300.
Police say Minnich will be facing charges including attempted homicide and that he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Police also say the man who was shot was taken to a hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. His condition is unknown at this time.
