Police seek help identifying South Side graffiti tagger

Racist and vulgar messages were spray painted on a concession stand at Quarry Field at S. 18th Street and Crosman Street in the South Side.

Pittsburgh Police are asking for the public's help to identify the person who did it.

Police say the tag "Orez" was also painted with the graffiti.

Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto said the City will also launch a cleanup and restoration effort for the defaced facility.

"Disgusting and hateful actions like these have no place in our city and will not be tolerated," Peduto said. "Law enforcement will work to identify and prosecute whoever did this to the fullest extent of the law."
