A woman from Kittanning is facing charges after allegedly leaving her two daughters alone and assaulting her neighbor in East Franklin Township.
Police say 31 year-old Michelle Craigmiles left her 4 and 6-year-old girls home alone Sunday morning.
Police were called after the children knocked on a neighbor's door for help.
When Craigmiles returned to the scene, police were informed she had allegedly assaulted a neighbor.
Craigmiles was taken into custody and was found to have drug paraphernalia.
The children were released to family.
