
PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - As emotions continue to build throughout this public health crisis, some are looking for ways to relieve their stress.
Meditation is one outlet.
"When you meditate, you give yourself an opportunity to spend time in stillness. And think, how beneficial is that for us?" Psychologist Dr. Christian Conte said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show Monday.
He also encourages censorship of the mind.
"Be mindful what your putting in your mind, because your mind is taking it in," Dr Conte said.
Whether what someone is watching or reading is positive or negative, a person is inserting those emotions into their brain.
