Pittsburgh native reporter Jordan Cioppa has put in the work in other markets and has made it back home.
Cioppa was recently hired by WTAE-TV as a reporter and she is already out in the field bringing you the latest in Pittsburgh news.
The Plum High School and Penn State grad started at WJAC in Johnstown before spending the last three years in Charleston, South Carolina at WCBD.
“The first few days on the job have felt really special and full circle! I love Pittsburgh and all of its history, culture, and of course the people!” Cioppa tells KDKA Radio. “I’m excited to get to know the city I grew up in on an even deeper level through the eyes of a reporter.”
Cioppa says she is a “nightside” reporter Monday through Friday.
“I’m so excited about this opportunity, mainly because of the awesome night crew I’m working with! They have all been so helpful and welcoming. The station already feels like home!”
She's also been welcomed home and to WTAE by legendary anchor Mike Clark.

WTAE is an ABC station.
