The Elections Division has ordered all counties to prepare. Allegheny County officials are going through logic and accuracy testing Tuesday, and that process is expected to last two hours.

Over 60 full-time Allegheny County staff will be sworn in on Wednesday morning to oversee and initiate the recount. Officials say the process is expected to take two days. When that’s done, the results will then go to the Department of State.

Governor Tom Wolf gave an update on the process on the KDKA Radio Morning Show:

“Because this was Memorial Day, the Department of State said if you want to start on Saturday, you can do that. Technically, it started yesterday and ends on June 7th. The counties have to certify the results by Noon on Tuesday the 8th.”

Dr. Oz and David McCormick are allowed to attend.
