Road rage shooting on Banksville Road leaves two injured

UPDATE: An arrest warrant was issued for 52-year-old Kevin McClintock from the Allentown region of Pittsburgh.

McClintock was wanted on charges for an October 2 shooting on Banksville Road.


SWAT negotiators were able to talk McClintock into surrendering on Saw Mill Run Boulevard, and he was taken into custody on the morning of Saturday, October 3 without incident.

McClintock was apprehended at around 7:20 a.m. on Saturday after a two hour standoff with the SWAT negotiators.

McClintock is facing two counts of Criminal Attempt Homicide, two counts of Aggravated Assault, Person not to Possess a Firearm, and three counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Two people were taken to the hospital after a shooting Friday afternoon on Banksville Road.

Pittsburgh Police are calling it an apparent case of road rage.

They say a driver in a silver pickup truck ran the victims off the road and shot at them, causing their vehicle to crash..

Crews immediately responded to the intersection of Banksville Avenue and Banksville Road.

They say a male was shot and a female was possibly grazed by a bullet.

Both were taken to an area hospital in stable condition.

No word on any arrests.
