PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) – Seven more residents at Westmoreland Manor have tested positive for COVID-19, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.
That brings the total number of patients and staff members to test positive for COVID-19 t0 54.
The Pennsylvania National Guard sent seven members to the nursing home on Sunday to help with testing patients and staff. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazettes reports that 25 other members of the National Guard, including nurses and medics, are also on site to help over the next seven days.
Patients and staff will continue to be tested until the nursing home sees no new cases for 14 days from the most recent positive test.
