Several cats were found dead Wednesday in two Pittsburgh neighborhoods and now an investigation is underway.
A dead cat was spotted inside a plastic bag on a sidewalk on Taylor Street. A humane officer said a USB-type cord was wrapped around the cats neck.
Pittsburgh Police said they were aware multiple cats were found dead and possibly tortured around the area. A humane officer said the cat in the bag was one of at least four cats found dead and possibly tortured in the Bloomfield and Friendship neighborhoods.
The investigation is in early stages as investigators are trying to find out the exact locations and how the cats died.
They ask anyone who saw what happened to the cats or knows who is behind this to call the police or Humane Animal Rescue officer at 412-345-7300 ext. 245.
