UPDATE: Police say the person shot has died. Classes have been canceled for Wednesday.
A student is dead after a shooting outside Oliver Citywide Academy.
KDKA Radio’s Marty Griffin reports it happened Tuesday morning before 7:30 a.m. in the Marshall-Shadeland part of Pittsburgh.
Pittsburgh Police have one person in custody, also a student, and the area near Oliver on Brighton Road taped off.
A gun was found on the scene.
Police requested crews to come and clean off the sidewalk.
There was a shooting outside of Oliver in January 2022.
