PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) — PennDOT District 11 will begin maintenance work in the Squirrel Hill Tunnel (I-376 Parkway East), starting on Friday, Jan. 29.
The work will start on Friday night.
Single-lane restrictions will be used bidirectionally from 7:30 p.m. Friday to 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
Lighting in the tunnel will be reduced as crews operate on the control system.
PennDOT is imploring that drivers exercise caution with entering and exiting the tunnel as the project goes on.
