The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh says wind gusts up to 50 miles per hour could come through the area Tuesday.

NWS Meteorologist Tim Cermack tells The Big K Morning Show it will also get cooler through the day bottoming out in the mid-30s tonight into Wednesday.

There could also be times of rain throughout the day.

“We’re expecting wind gusts in the 35 to 45 mile per hour range,” Cermack said. “In those showers that we see this afternoon, those gusts could be a little bit higher, up to 50 miles per hour.”

With the temps falling into the overnight hours, some areas around Southwestern PA could see a snow shower or two.

Wednesday’s high will be in the low 50s before more seasonable weather heading into the weekend.
