A Subway sandwich shop in Southwestern Pennsylvania remains “out of compliance” after a follow-up inspection by state officials.
The Department of Agriculture’s Bureau of Food Safety says the Subway on Wilmington Road in New Castle continues to have cooler issues.
Inspectors say the undercounter cooler has not been repaired and is not cooling foods properly.
The inspection states that is a multiple-repeat violation.
Another follow-up inspection is planned within 7 to 10 days from September 3.
The Wilmington Road location is the only Subway affected by the “out of compliance” inspection.
