PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) – On Tuesday morning, Allegheny County Police General Investigations Unit was contacted by another law enforcement agency regarding a possible child sex assault case.
Through their investigation, police determined that 27-year-old Devaughante J. Law, Sr of Rankin was responsible for committing sexual acts against numerous children, toddlers, and infants.
Law recorded the acts and disseminated the images and videos to others.
Not all of the victims have been identified and detectives believe there could be more victims. They are requesting the public's help in identifying other children known to be around Law.
Potential victims may need medical attention and/or other social services.
Law was taken into custody on Tuesday afternoon and is being charged with multiple counts of incest, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, rape, aggravated indecent assault, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault, corruption of a minor, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Detectives are working with the District Attorney's office to identify all charges.
