A suspect is in custody and three people were sent to the the hospital after a shooting at a baby shower at the Kinloch Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday.
The Lower Burrell police chief said the victims included a 23 year old, a 19 year old and a 16 year old.
The severity of the injuries at this time are unknown.
Officials say the incident turned violent when family members began arguing during the gift opening of the baby shower.
The suspect had a 9 mm handgun as the fight escalated and fired three rounds.
25 people were at the shower.
Police were called at 6:07 p.m. Saturday.
The Lower Burrell Police Department and Westmoreland County Detective Bureau are investigating the shooting.
