PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Pittsburgh SWAT officers are searching for a suspect who has allegedly fled the scene of a domestic incident Tuesday morning.
Officers initially responded to a domestic incident in a building in the area of Bedford Ave. and Chauncey St.
The suspect left the building forcing police to close Bigelow Boulevard in both directions for a time.
While the street has reopened to traffic, officials are still on the search for the suspect.
Police have recovered a firearm from the scene.
According to a police report a male was threatening a female with the firearm while children were in the home.
No specific details on the suspect are available at this time.
A warrant will be filed and multiple charges will be applied.
