SWAT situation in Wilkins end with shots fire, man in custody

A SWAT standoff at a home in Wilkins Township is over.

Police surrounded the house in the 100 block of Linhart Street early this morning.

The incident started in another location around 6 a.m. and moved to the home.

After several hours, SWAT officers fired several shots, entered the house and arrested a man identified as David, leading him outside in handcuffs.

Nothing yet from police on what led to the pursuit and standoff.
