
Heinz History Center is saying 'thank you' to teachers.
The History Center is offering free admission to teachers and educators throughout the entire month of May, in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week.
In addition to the History Center, teachers also get free admission to Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, Fort Pitt Museum, and Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village.
They just need to show a valid teacher ID at any of the locations. the offer is open to all educators from grades K-12 and college.
The offer is available to teacher May 1-31.
"The Heinz History Center works closely with teachers in Western Pa. throughout the year and has witnessed the incredible job they have done under historically difficult circumstances,” said Andy Masich, president and CEO of the History Center. “As an educational institution that preserves history and inspires learning, we commend the region’s educators for their important work and thank them for everything they do for our children and community.”
Teacher Appreciation Week is May 3-7.
