A teen cutting down a tree in Westmoreland County has been flown to a Pittsburgh Hospital after being hit by the falling tree.
Police say the 18-year-old, part of a tree removal crew from Punxsutawney, was struck in the head and was trapped under the tree at one point.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. in the 1500 block of Lucesco Road in Allegheny Township.
There' no word on the teen's condition.
