A beloved Pittsburgh restaurant is being upfront an honest with its customers and letting them know that prices will be going up.
Tessaro’s in Bloomfield announced on Thursday that there will be some “necessary price increases.”
“Please understand, it is not our intention to price our restaurant out of anyone’s budget,” Tessaro’s said in the statement, but add that they can’t hold out any longer for fuel and food prices to come down.
“Just as you have witnessed at your local grocery store, we also have to raise pricing,” said Tessaro’s.
The owners added they wanted to let their customers know about the increase as a sign of “respect & notice.”
Voted the best hamburger in Pittsburgh, the restaurant on Liberty Avenue has been open for over 40 years.
