HBO Max hit show, “The Pitt” is teaming up with the American Red Cross to encourage people to donate blood.
The Emmy-winning medical drama set in Pittsburgh takes place in a fictionalized Allegheny General Hospital.

Nicole Roschella from the American Red Cross explains why that is fitting for the partnership.
“That’s really what we wanted to get across to people, who may be interested in donating blood,” said Roschella. “the show helps you see how critical it is, working in an emergency room.”
Eligible donors will receive an exclusive t-shirt with "The Pitt" logo on it.
