Three people were rescued following an early morning mining accident in Washington County.
It happened around 4 a.m. Tuesday at the Sparta Portal, a Consol Energy facility in Morris Township.
The miners were tapped underground.
One of the injured was flown from the scene to a trauma center in stable condition.
Two others with minor injuries were evaluated at a hospital.
