The Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium just got even cuter.

Two Amur leopard cubs were recently born.

The zoo says the cubs were born on March 18 and “have been thriving under the care of their first-time mother, Semba.”

The cubs will stay out of public view until they get all of their vaccination and can “safely navigate their outdoor habitat.

The public will likely get their first look at the cubs sometime in June.

The Zoo says the Amur leopard is one of the rarest subspecies of cats in the world with only 100 living in the wild in Russia and China.

“Semba was born at the Pittsburgh Zoo herself and we’re so glad to see the next generation join us. She’s such a good mom,” said Karen Vacco, Assistant Curator of Mammals. “Aside from digital monitoring of the denning area, we’re letting them bond. They’re doing well, the babies are nursing and growing just like they should.”

You can also help name the newborn cubs. For a $5 donation, people can submit two names on the zoo’s website.
