Millvale Borough Police are looking for two men who were seen on surveillance footage stealing parking signs and destroying American flags Wednesday night.
In a Facebook post, Millvale Police Chief Tim Komoroski said the two men removed "No Parking" signs and destroyed multiple American flags, their mounting brackets and parts of buildings where the flags were attached.
Police say they have collected security footage from businesses and homes on Grant Ave., Butler St., North Ave. and Klopfer St.
Komoroski estimates the damages will cost thousands to repair and had a strong message for the suspects.
"Make no mistake that you both will be caught and held accountable for your actions," he wrote on social media. "It would be in your best interest to come forward and take credit for what you have done. If you do not you will become famous by the end of this weekend."
