Two prizes of $100k won in PA Lottery games locally

Someone in California may have won the over $2 billion Powerball jackpot earlier this week, but Wednesday's drawing saw a player in Allegheny County do okay for themselves by winning $100,000.

The Pennsylvania Lottery says someone who played the Powerball at Fueland on Noblestown Road matched four of the five white balls draw along with the red Powerball.


The numbers draw on Wednesday night were 7-14-24-30-56 and the Powerball was 7.

Nobody in the country won last night's grand prize, so the new amount will have a value of about $47 million during the next drawing on Saturday.

And while someone won $100k playing the old-fashioned way, an online player in Westmoreland won their own jackpot.

The Lottery says someone playing the online game Mon$ter Money, a connect and collect internet game, hit for $100,000 recently.

The PA iLottery, which started in 2018, can be played on computers, tablet or mobile phones, but downloading their app.

Pennsylvania is one of 14 stats to offer lottery play online and just like the regular lottery, you must be 18 or older to participate.
