PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) - UPMC and the Pittsburgh Public Schools' Summer BOOST program are teaming up to vaccinate students (ages 12-17) and families.
Starting this week, UPMC medical professionals are going to five summer sites to provide students with the Pfizer or Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
Anyone under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian, or have a parent give consent by fully completing the COVID-19 Vaccine Administration Form.
The clinics schedule is as follows:
Wednesday:
Pittsburgh King and Pittsburgh Sci-Tech
8-10 AM
Thursday:
Pittsburgh Carmalt, Pittsburgh Langley, Pittsburgh Obama
8-10AM
Anyone wishing to get a vaccine must schedule an appointment.
