PITTSBURGH (NewsRadio KDKA) — Allegheny County revealed Wednesday that part of Wagner Street will be closed in preparation for water line work.
The closure will start on Monday, June 21.
And the closure is expected to last through July.
Wagner Street will be affected between Becks Run Road and Mountain Avenue, and traffic will be detoured through Becks Run Road, Brownsville Road, Ormsby Avenue, and Walter Avenue.
While it's not a direct Public Works project, the Department signed off on it recently because of the necessity of the water line installation.
Instead, the Pennsylvania American Water Company will be conducting the work.
