WASHINGTON (NewsRadio KDKA) — Acting United States Attorney Stephen R. Kaufman announced Wednesday that a grand jury is indicting a resident of Washington, Pennsylvania on a charge of "committing theft from the government."
Michael Pierce, the 49-year-old defendant, was named in the one-count indictment.
According to the indictment, Pierce stole about $12,800 from the United States Government between October 2018 and September 2019.
