Route 19 is set to close this weekend in Marshall Township.
Crews are shutting down the southbound and northbound lanes of Route 19 between Thorn Hill Road and Warrendale Bayne Road from 8 p.m. on March 25, to 5 a.m. on March 28.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission has posted the proper detours for northbound and southbound travelers. They are posted below:
State Route 19 Northbound Detour:
Warrendale Bayne Road (State Route 4052) to I-79 south to Exit 73/State Route 910 east to I-79 north to Exit 78 State Route 228 west to State Route 19.
State Route 19 Southbound Detour:
State Route 228 east to I-79 south to Exit 73/State Route 910 east to I-79 north to Exit 75 Warrendale Bayne Road (State Route 4052) to State Route 19.
This work is a part of the PTC's Total Reconstruction Project, between mileposts 28 and 31.
