The BLAAC OUT Project envisions a community of young men and women that are being mentored and guided by strong community leaders and support, which allows for the next generation of young men and women to become leaders, voices, and advocates among their peers in their own communities and neighborhoods.

It empowers and educates, young, creative, ethical, and socially responsible organizational leaders in "at risk" communities by creating and disseminating impactful knowledge within.

BLAAC OUT means Building Leadership Among At-Risk Communities.

Today, we hear way too many times about our youth attacking teachers and/or each other in school and in our neighborhoods. Leaving us all scratching our heads asking the burning question "what happened to our kids?" and "How can we make this go away?"

LaTisha Lewis, the founder of The BLAACOUT Project joins me this week to discuss more positive options and resources and what her program does to help children who are considered at risk and just need a different outlet. LaTisha is also my soror so I know where the passion comes from to serve the community; particularly our young ones.
