Where's Tonee? With a spotlight on Gabby Petito, attention urged for missing Pittsburgh Artist Tonee Turner

While the world was looking for Gabby Petito, a local family is still waiting for Tonee Turner. The Pittsburgh artist has been missing and a family member says they are still holding out hope for answers.

Tonee Turner was last seen Dec. 30, 2019. She was coming from Squirrel Hill going home to where she lived in Hazelwood, the last person who saw her dropped her off at her house. Around 6:30 pm she was last seen by a bus driver, and around 8:30 pm her possessions were found on the Homestead Grays Bridge, says Turner's sister, Sydnee.

Sydnee tells KDKA Radio's Lynne Hayes-Freeland "it feels weird that it's been since 2019 since Tonee's been missing so in a way it's become "normal" to have her not around." "I'm tired of that feeling, I'm tired of it being "normal" to not have Tonee accounted for."
