Wholey's fish market in the Strip is celebrating 111 years in business. Pittsburgh Magazine's Kristy Graver told the Big K Morning Show it's an anniversary with a Jaws-sized meal:
"They're teaming up with another iconic Pittsburgh business, Mancini's bakery to create this 111 pound fish sandwich, the Whaler Wonder. Its basically just a gigantic version of their usual sandwich. Nick at Mancini's told me it will take 4 people to hoist the dough into the oven."
Tomorrow, at 11 a.m., a celebration will be taking place at Wholey's. Alongside fish sandwiches, you can look forward to raffles, giveaways, a photo booth, and a delightful cake.
