A woman was arrested Thursday on multiple charges, accused of pepper spraying court employees in Munhall.

The Allegheny County Sheriff's Office says 32-year-old Santhiya Mahilkanthan walked into the office of Magisterial Judge Patrick Campbell around 3 p.m. and got into an argument with court staff and was asked to leave.

She left, but returned a short time later, yelled at staffers and allegedly discharged the pepper spray.

The Sheriff’s Office say one staff member left the office to get away from the spray outside.
Mahilkanthan continued to argue and the staff member told detectives she was pushed.

Mahilkanthan fled but was located quickly and detained.

Three court workers were treated at the scene.

Mahilkanthan was taken to Allegheny County Jail and is facing charges of aggravated assault, harassment, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief, vandalism and obstructing administration of law.
