A woman and child were found dead in a Swissvale apartment this morning.
Swissvale police were initially called to the 7800 block of Sailor place around 10:15 Wednesday morning.
Medics had requested help entering a barricaded apartment.
Once inside, police say they found a woman and a young girl dead with gunshot wounds.
No word on any suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 1-833-ALL-TIPS.
